PVTsim NOVA 7.1 is a PVT simulation package for use by PVT laboratories and in reservoir and flow assurance studies. Popular PVTsim modules and interfaces have been collected into standard packages offered at a lower price when compared to purchasing each module individually. The different packages target the needs of different engineering areas.

The Pipesim™ steady-state multiphase flow simulator is the flagship SLB well and network modeling software for steady-state multiphase flow simulation. Together with the Olga™ dynamic multiphase flow simulator, SLB provides a complete software solution for design and optimization of production systems. These notes accompany the release of Pipesim 2025.1. The notes describe changes in Pipesim 2025.1 relative to Pipesim 2024.3. This document should be read by all users of the program. The complete program documentation consists of Pipesim help, release notes, and installation guides. The SLB Software Support Hub provides useful information about the product, and a knowledge base. Please contact SLB if problems or missing functionality are encountered when using Pipesim steady-state multiphase flow simulator or any of its related software tools.

The Olga™ dynamic multiphase flow simulator models transient flow (time-dependent behaviors) to maximize production potential. Transient modeling is an essential component for feasibility studies and field development design. Dynamic simulation is essential in deep water and is used extensively in both offshore and onshore developments to investigate transient behavior in pipelines and wellbores. Transient simulation with the Olga simulator provides an added dimension to steady-state analysis by predicting system dynamics, such as time-varying changes in flow rates, fluid compositions, temperature, solids deposition, and operational changes.

SubPUMP 2023, a product of HIS Markit, is one of the most powerful software available for designing and optimizing all types of electrical submersible pumps, which are called Electrical Submersible Pumps or ESP. Floating electric pumps are widely used to increase production in oil fields and develop offshore fields. Flaresim 2025.1 is a computer program designed to assist professional engineers in the design and evaluation of flare systems. The program calculates the thermal radiation, thermal dose and noise generated by flares and estimates the temperatures of exposed surfaces. It also performs dispersion analysis of the combustion gases or relieved fluid in flame out conditions. Flaresim provides a user friendly interface with program actions accessed by menu and toolbar options. Data entry is through a series of data views controlled from an overall Case Navigator view. Context sensitive help is available at all points to assist the user in the use of the program and selection of appropriate design parameters.
